Arts Play - is an inclusive holiday childcare scheme, offering a high standard of care that meets the needs of families and children at affordable rates. We positively welcome children of all abilities between the ages of 4 (in full time education) - 14 years.
Arts Play employs fully trained and experienced staff on a ratio of at least 1 member of staff to 8 children. Arts Play offers a range of arts based activities that develop the individual child's creative talents through a programme of practical and participatory workshops, which are supported by professional children's theatre and local artist visits. These include crafts, games, drama, sports and structured play activities. For the long summer holidays, special day trips will be arranged, visiting local attractions (extra charges are made to cover entry fees).
Bring a packed lunch and dress for mess. Juice and biscuits will be provided for morning and afternoon breaks. Please bring sun protection when the weather is warm.
Arts Play operates with a health and safety policy that encourages safety awareness for both staff and children to ensure a safe environment. Children are also encouraged to think about safety in a variety of places, and learn to assess risks, e.g. by water, on the roadside and personal safety.
